The Tornado Across the Lake

Roof damage and roof leaks which resulted from a tornado traveling Lake Whitney hit this lakefront home.  The water accompanying the storm soaked the blown-in insulation and the ceiling drywall in this room.  SERVPRO of Waco, a restoration company, quickly removed the debris and dug out the furniture.  Fortunately, the furniture was not permanently damaged.

The carpet and padding had to be removed.  Nobody, including your insurance company, wants carpeting dried and saved after having fine particles of insulation fall en masse onto wall to wall carpeting...or area rugs.
