Dull to Sparkle

Looks OK at First Glance...but...

Often in a fire, furniture and content items not directly in the direct damage area appear not affected or affected very little.

Two things kind of play into this.  One, they look fine compared to the heavily fire damaged furniture and items from the affected area.  The soot is not so obvious.

Second, and true of much of the furniture, contents, walls, etc., is that the sparkle is gone.  Almost everything is there, looks OK, but it is dull compared to normal.
