Imagine the surprise to find this when opening up the church for Sunday services and activities.
While a few nearby Sunday school classes had to be moved, the main area was not being used specifically that morning.
SERVPRO of Waco restoration company was called, arriving shortly after the morning service and activities were over. This church water damage required extensive water extraction and many pieces of drying equipment to restore the areas, and contents, to dry.
Given the age of this part of the building(s), finding sources of electrical power was a creative, but successful, challenge.
This is the only job we have done that had affected hand bells. Fortunately the wetness was minor to the hand bells, which were in cases. Some of the cases had minor wet problems and dried successfully.
