Small, damaged water heater located in the attic above the restrooms.

The forgotten water heater in the attic.

Over 20 years, the management changes, the maintenance people change, etc. and it just keeps doing its job.

Until one day, it just pops.

Fortunately, when this small water heater in West Waco, over the area restrooms, popped it's pressure release valve people were still around and heard it.

Still by the time the water got shut off, plenty got wet.

What if no one had been there at the time?  Small water heater or not, the water pipe was regular sized and running.  Draining straight from the water tower you might say.

SERVPRO of Waco, a restoration company, was on the job shortly afterward and got the situation under control and dried.

No loss of building function at all.
