WHERE ARE YOUR PICTURES??

We put our pictures in all kinds of places and in all kinds of things.

While most new pictures seem to go into cell phones and digital cameras, rarely to be seen again, most of us have old ones which are on some form of paper.

Of course, cardboard boxes, loosely folded closed, are one of the main way pictures are stored.

Paper stored inside paper which is barely sealed.  

Water is absorbed by the paper and cardboard and smoke from even a little bitty fire can get all over the pictures.

Plastic containers which slide under beds are a great way to store...and possible save them.  In closets too.

Should you suffer a fire damage or water damage loss, pictures, and other documents, which are in plastic containers with the lid snapped shut rarely suffer damage, unless burned directly.

Next time you have them out for anything...into a plastic container and snap shut the lid!
